Local Small Business Spotlight: Your Photo Helper (New Braunfels, TX)

This week’s local business feature is Your Photo Helper, and I’m so happy to share it with you!  The work that Debbie does is so important and needed but so often it’s something people put on the back burner.  ‍ ‍

Her website says it best: “Turn Your Photo Chaos into a Family Treasure”.

She helps organize and curate the mess of photos and videos (digital and physical) that you have collected and inherited over the years and have tucked away or stored all over the place.

I love this community so much and doing this series and getting to meet and feature local businesses has been an incredible reminder of why.

New Braunfels’ local businesses are what make this place unique and wonderful. Our community is better because of them and they deserve our support!

I’d love for you to check out all the businesses featured HERE:

Make sure to check back often as more features will be added regularly.

Meet the Owner of Your Photo Helper

Debbie and I met through local networking. Our businesses go hand in hand and I share her info all the time with clients needing to restore old photos or feel overwhelmed on how to organize what they have.

She’s warm and caring with patience and an attention to detail that makes trusting her with your photos an easy thing. The care and attention she puts in her work cannot be missed.

Her focus on impact and legacy really does set her work apart, it's not just about a sale for her.

In her words, “For me, this work is about helping people protect their memories, stories, and family history in a way that will matter for generations.”

About the Business

Tell us about your business and what you offer.

I help families and memory keepers bring order to their photos, videos, and memorabilia. I guide them through organizing, digitizing, and preserving their memories in a way that feels manageable now and meaningful for the future.

How It All Began

What inspired you to start this business, and how did it come to life here in New Braunfels?

My why has always been personal. I want to make sure my daughter—and future generations—can know the people, stories, and memories of family she may never have the chance to meet in person.

After moving to New Braunfels, I built my business through relationships, networking, and women’s groups that helped me get connected in the community. One of the biggest steps was starting a local Polka Dot Powerhouse chapter, which gave me a wonderful way to support other women in business while also growing my own roots here.

Serving the New Braunfels Community

What do you love most about serving this community?

What I love most about this community is its deep sense of legacy and impact. New Braunfels is a place where history, family, and tradition are valued, and there is such a strong spirit of generosity and people caring for one another.

Behind the Scenes of a Small Business

What’s something most people don’t see or know about running your business day-to-day?

One thing most people don’t see is that even as a photo organizer, my own photos are not perfectly organized. I know firsthand what that overwhelm feels like, which is exactly why I care so much about helping others take simple, doable steps instead of chasing perfection.

Values That Guide Their Work

What values guide the way you show up for your clients or customers?

Integrity, caring, and authenticity guide everything I do. I want my clients to know they can trust me to meet them where they are with honesty, compassion, and real understanding as we work together to preserve what matters most.

How to Support Your Photo Helper

How can the community best support your business right now?

The best way to support my business right now is through referrals and relationships. If you need help with your photos—or you’re talking with someone who feels overwhelmed by theirs—I’d be so grateful if you’d share my name. I’d also love to have you join one of my Muffins, Mimosas & Memories workshops. I host them in my home in person, and starting in May I’ll also be offering two virtual sessions each month.
