Getting to share these local businesses has been so meaningful for me. It’s a great reminder that you only have to look around to find you’re surrounded by pretty amazing people doing great things.

Meet the Owner of World's Edge Travel

I’ve known Jennifer for years now and have had the pleasure of photographing her and her family a few times.

As you can imagine, her family is as amazing as she is!

And they travel the world together, which is no small feat.

I love getting to see her all of her adventures, and talking with her it’s apparent she deeply cares for her clients.

I’m letting you know, you’ll be at a huge loss (in time, money and experience), if you don’t take advantage of her knowledge as a travel agent when you plan your next trip.

Why chance it when you have someone who knows the ins and outs and can help create the best experience possible tailored for you?!

Tell us about your business and what you offer.

World’s Edge Travel, LLC is a boutique luxury travel agency based right here in New Braunfels. We specialize in once-in-a-lifetime experiences — African safaris, luxury cruises, European villas, bucket-list adventures, and multi-generational family trips.

But more than booking travel, we curate experiences.

We handle everything from takeoff to landing — and every detail in between — so our clients can travel with complete peace of mind. Our role is part strategist, part problem-solver, part dream translator.

Whether it’s a couple celebrating 30 years of marriage, grandparents taking their grandkids on an adventure, or a family wanting something extraordinary beyond the typical vacation, we design travel that feels intentional, elevated, and deeply personal.

At its core, World’s Edge Travel is about helping people create memories that become the stories they tell for the rest of their lives.

‍How It All Began

What inspired you to start this business, and how did it come to life here in New Braunfels?

I grew up in a military family and spent much of my childhood living in Germany and traveling throughout Europe. Travel shaped the way I see the world from a young age — it expanded my perspective, built resilience, and created some of my most treasured family memories.

Years later, while working in the corporate healthcare industry, I found myself planning travel on the side for friends and family. What started as helping others quickly turned into something I absolutely loved — researching, curating, building relationships, and designing experiences.

After becoming a mom to twins, travel took on even deeper meaning. I became passionate about showing my children the world — not just for fun, but for growth, culture, and connection.

New Braunfels felt like the perfect place to build my family and this business. It’s a community rooted in family, relationships, and local pride. I wanted to create something here that combined my love of adventure with a service mindset — something that supports families and couples in creating intentional time together.

World’s Edge Travel was born from that heart — adventure with purpose.‍ ‍

Serving the New Braunfels Community

What do you love most about serving this community?

The relationships.

New Braunfels is such a relationship-driven community. I’ve booked trips for neighbors, friends from my kids’ sports teams, fellow PTA moms, and local business owners. I love that I’ll see clients at H-E-B or a Friday night football game and hear, “We’re still talking about that trip!”

There’s something special about helping someone celebrate a milestone — an anniversary, retirement, graduation — and knowing you played a role in shaping that experience.

I also love that this community values both hard work and meaningful rest. People here hustle, but they also care deeply about family time. That’s exactly the kind of travel we design — intentional, memory-rich experiences that bring people closer together.

‍ ‍Behind the Scenes of a Small Business

What’s something most people don’t see or know about running your business day-to-day?

Most people see the photos of Bora Bora's pristine waters, African Safari, or Tuscany countryside and assume I’m just “traveling for fun.” What they don’t see is the 5 a.m. laptop sessions before my twins wake up and 10p.m research and strategy planning after they’ve gone to bed, or answering client questions from a cruise ship WiFi connection at midnight because a flight got rerouted.

They don’t see the hours spent vetting properties, building supplier relationships, or double-checking entry requirements so my clients don’t have to stress.

And as a mom of twins, sometimes the day looks like negotiating sibling debates over breakfast while simultaneously coordinating a private driver in Rome.

It’s equal parts beautiful and chaotic — but I wouldn’t trade it.

Behind every itinerary is a lot of care, detail, and intention.

Values That Guide Their Work

What values guide the way you show up for your clients or customers?

Integrity, excellence, and heart.

Integrity means honest recommendations. If something isn’t the right fit, I’ll say so.

Excellence means attention to detail — because the small details are what elevate travel from good to unforgettable.

And heart means I truly care. I don’t see trips as transactions. I see them as chapters in someone’s life story.

I also deeply value education and firsthand experience. If I recommend something, it’s either because I’ve personally experienced it, vetted it extensively, or built a trusted relationship with someone on the ground.

Luxury, to me, is not about excess — it’s about intentionality and peace of mind.

How to Support World's Edge Travel

How can the community best support your business right now?

The biggest way to support a small business like mine is through conversation and referrals.

If you’ve traveled with us and loved your experience, sharing that story with a friend or leaving a review makes a tremendous difference.

Following along on social media, engaging with posts, and thinking of World’s Edge Travel when someone mentions an upcoming trip — that word-of-mouth support is everything.

And of course, when you’re ready to plan something meaningful — I’d be honored to help
