Texas State University Graduation Portraits
Senior year moves fast, and the session that gets pushed to the end usually ends up squeezed between finals and family plans. This session was done on the Texas State University campus in San Marcos, Texas, and if you're graduating from Texas State, it's one to plan early.
Still deciding who to book? Here's what to look for in a senior photographer.
What does a senior session with me look like?
It starts with a consultation. We talk through what you want these photos to say about you, what to wear, what to bring, and where to shoot. Nothing gets decided for you. The session is built around you, not a set list of poses.
Can I bring more than one look?
Yes. Bring the outfits that feel like you, and we'll plan them so your gallery has real range. A few years from now, you'll want to remember who you were at this time, not who you were trying to look like. That's the session we'll plan.
Can my pet come?
In most cases, yes. This senior wanted her dog in her graduation photos, so we planned for it, and some of the final images include him. If your dog is part of your life right now, they belong in the photos. And we’ll incorporate it into the plan.
You don't need a plan before we talk.
Graduation happens once, and it’s easier to do a photoshoot before the last month of school takes over your calendar. Tell me what you want these to say about you, and I'll plan the session around it.
I photograph seniors, families, and women who are ready to show up more in their lives. You can see all of it in my guide to portrait photography in New Braunfels and San Antonio.
