Am I Too Old for Boudoir?
No.
That's the whole answer to the question that brought you here. But I know a one-word answer doesn't undo years of wondering, so let's stay with it a minute.
If you searched "mature boudoir" or found yourself wondering whether you're too old for a session, you were probably half expecting to find the age where the door closes.
It doesn't close. I've photographed women in their 70s. The oldest client I've worked with came in convinced she'd missed her window decades ago. She hadn't. Nobody does.
Your Beauty Does Not Expire
What actually changes with age isn't your eligibility. It's you.
Most women who book with me later in life aren't chasing something they missed at twenty. They're not trying to look like they used to.
They've arrived at this point in life as more settled in themselves, less interested in performing for anyone.
That's not a consolation prize version of boudoir. It's the whole point.
Women who've stopped negotiating with their own reflection photograph differently than women who are still trying to perform it.

What to wear, what to expect
You can wear whatever the hell you want.
There's no one correct dress code and no right answer.
Some women want something classic and structured.
Some want almost nothing at all.
Some want a favorite oversized shirt and nothing more complicated than that.
I plan the wardrobe conversation around what you actually want to see in the mirror, not around what a boudoir session is "supposed" to look like.
Hair and makeup, if you want it, is handled by a team that works with women of every age and every skin tone, aiming for you on your best day, not a different person.
Each session is completely customized to your personality, comfort level, and style.

Lingerie sets that enhance your shape without sacrificing comfort
Button-down shirts, cozy sweaters, or even a simple white sheet look

On Retouching
I do natural retouching on every session: even skin, softened shadows, nothing that reads as filtered.
If you want your lines, your scars, or your stretch marks left exactly as they are, tell me, and they stay.
Both approaches are common. Neither is the "right" one. The point isn't to erase what your body has been through. It's to photograph it well.
If you've been circling this for a while
You don't need to show up at your session with your confidence already fully formed.
Most women don't. Almost no one feels confident walking into their session.
What I've watched happen, more times than I can count, is that the fear women bring into the studio starts losing its grip somewhere in the first ten to fifteen minutes, once there's actual direction instead just that negative voice in your head.
You don't have to be 100% ready. You just have to book the session and let it happen the way it happens for almost everyone.
